Step 1: Buy rare, rusty but complete and unmolested 1956 Hudson Hornet V8 on ebay for $2100.

They were trying to roll the car forward by tilting the ramps; there was a safety chain holding it but when it rolled forward and snapped the chain taut, it bounced back and the chain went slack and got disconnected. With no stops or blocks on the upper ramps, the Hudson rolled off the ends, teetered once, then slid off and nosed over.

Shipper's assistant, who was inside the car steering, suffered a broken arm.

Why didn't they just ship it tied to a flatbed trailer like everyone else does? It's definitely worth the extra cost.

If I bought a 1957 Hudson, one of about 20-30,000 if I remember correctly, and one of probably 500 left, and I saw this happen...

...I would do immoral things. I would go full on Hitler on these people.

Anybody know what happened afterwards? Was it saveable?

Post #57 on the H.A.M.B. link just says it was hauled off (still upside down) on a wrecker. I suppose we'll hear more when all the parties have their say.
